PBGC hasn't been doing so hot lately ... don't know if you noticed. I have very little confidence in the managers of my 401k. First, when 'market timing' brouhaha came out -- they put restriction on our trades -- the nincompoops!! Second, I took a small loan from my 401k -- they informed me recently that they inadvertently reported this as a taxable event to the IRS, but it was ok. I told them to send me copies -- both version of 1099's in error and the corrected copy they were supposedly sending to the IRS. I am still fight them.
