If I remember correctly, Woodward and Bernstein spent years asking the right questions. Now reporters don't shout each other down, they shout moronic questions at politicians to get a scandalous answer that will sound good in the evening news headline.

Garbage in, garbage our describes out broadcast media pretty well.

But hell, it's sensational and entertaining, right?
