Actually, that is not quite correct. As a matter of fact, you are totally completely wrong, about a great many things.

heh heh.

First, this is a member's only site. The people who are not members have zero rights to post messages, hence, a non-member has no "right to speak" at all. You might have the Bill of Rights confused with the Terms of Use and the Membership Agreement.

Three very different documents.

Secondly, I am assuming that your little diatribe was written in the heat of the moment, as it were, so to speak.

There is a difference between stating an opinion and asserting a "fact".

McKie, whom I happen to know, stated an opinion. You came back with an asserted "fact", while implying that McKie is a criminal. He's not. He's a warm, caring, sensitive, 4 door Volvo never speeding always drinks warm milk with Lorna Doones kind a fellow, I think. Not a Charles Manson gene on his block as far as I know.

So, attacking somebody you know nothing about is just stupid. That's bad form, you know. Sun Tsu would not be happy. I mean, what if he had friends with water balloons and stuff?

You see my point.

For example, if my cOUSIN came on this thread and said:

"You rancid and unimportant shard of wildebeest expectorate, I do not agree with you at all." [reference 1 #reply-6844368 ]

...that is totally different than stating an opinion, such as this example which I just now made up:

"In my humble opinion, you appear to be a lame and ignorant twit who is losing at trying to support a loudmouth numbskull who has a very long history of being unable to follow rules and then screaming about it after he screws up."

You see the difference? So, my humble advice is to simply calm down and take a couple of Vomatox and try and relax. Perhaps some Cream of Mammal Soup would hit that cranky spot in your tummy.

Thirdly, Jorj X. McKie is not alone in his opinion. My cOUSIN's best friend from Trade School, Not Flargg, thinks Anthony is a dillweed too. And Not Flargg went to Trade School, so I think his opinion should count as much as Anthony's, seeing as how neither of them are...uh... members of Silicon Investor.

Finally, everyone knows that people who yap and scream real, real loud about being done wrong when it was their own damn fault have, as a general rule, something to hide. Everyone knows this. Except you, apparently.

This is why I would suggest a different tactic. A little less on the I Am Better Than Thou, Thou Dirty Diseased Maggot School of Thought and a bit more on the courtesy.

Perhaps a calm and soothing post would win more acolytes over to the Way of Life's new home, as it were, so to speak.
