Date Announced for First 16,000,000 Database Launching GBID's New Quest Business Search Engine
SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 1999--Global Business Information Directory, Inc. (''Global'') (OTC BB:GBDI - news) today announced that its new global business search engine ''Quest'' would go live on May 10th, 1999 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

With effect from May 6th users of the site will have access to the first database of 16 million companies located in the United States. Global, using a geographic search system for its directory, will continue to enlarge its database over the next few months adding new international databases.
