reading - I took several sources for the best 100 books of the 20th century [a reader's list, the BBC best book list, Random House, along with a list of Banned and/or Challenged Books, Pulitzer Prize Novels and the Nobel's in Literature] - consolidated the lista and am reading them all [including re-reading the ones I already had read]
I read one from my list, then another book not listed, but that I want to read
may take me forver, but certainly has honed reading skills, effected my reading taste - some of the books that I had read earlier, in school, that I didn't appreciate the first time around, I throughly enjoyed the second time - The Great Gatsby is one of them
also found some authors I had never read and enjoyed, like Edith Wharton
I still can't get into Hemingway though - 'clipped' is an understatement
