Iraq:

We haven't been shown much yet except problems.

Four years in the future it will be new ball game.

With a bit of luck the country will be showplace of
the modern world, and America will keep pushing and investing to make it so.

Housing, banking, and industries will be the foundation.

Autos, entertainment, and communications next.

Irrigation and crops.

$50 bbl oil wont stop it- might even help. The US can stand paying $50 bbl. China cannot.


California has about the same size and population and lots of desert, and If California was a nation instead of a state their economy would be high on the list.

If we and other Iraqi people have to kill off all the Sunnis to make it happen,then so be it. I cant picture the survivors will ever be willing to go back to the life thay had under Saddam.

And right here I recognize a problem with the Press and how operations in Iraq are presented to the people, as being bad or good
