Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld created the war with the help of the Neocon think-tank types. I think their main priority was stealing the oil. In fact every other excuse always comes back to the oil. Bush-Cheney are both greedy oilmen.

One thing surprises me though. Bush-Cheney are so close to the Sunni Saudis. So why did the Saudis support the overthrow of Saddam if they could have guessed this would empower the Shias and Iran? Or did Bush-Cheney invade without Saudi approval? Hmm.

Also, this invasion did not make Israel safer. In fact, it made things more dangerous for them. Maybe unintended, but what happened. So Zionist Jews are not wild about Bush's war, I'm sure. It upset the whole apple cart.
