Keystone doesn't need $100/barrel oil to make sense.

As for wind generators, they aren't that big of competition. Oil is mostly used for gas and diesel engines transportation, secondarily for lubrication and plastics. Wind power does nothing for the later two. It can produce electricity for use in electric cars and trucks, but their market share is even worse then wind powers share of produced electricity.

The same goes for solar.

Natural gas burning vehicles exist, but aren't likely to dominate any time soon.
