<Who or what is Gadi Singer?> Gadi is a senior guy who was brought in from Israel to Santa Clara to fix Merced apparently with a sweetheart package. I was just doing some inside Intel talk to amuse Paul, Tenchusatsu and other people who might know the situation. <I agree that Merced (and IA64 in general) will be a very slow ramp. The irony is that the x86 is winning in the workstation/server area. Intel doesn't need Merced to conquer those markets!> You mean - a day late and a dollar short. I agree.
