Brian, even if I wanted it to sell to raise cash, my cholesterol-rich blood is not marketable. Also, at 40, the stock is at the 25% DIP---out of the 20% AMAT Playfield. I indicated in the past that AMAT could go down 20% and then hit another New All-Time high in 1 to 3 months; but if the stock should go down 25% and stay there for several days (that is without bouncing Up quickly inside the 20% Playfield), then the 25% decline could continue to 30, 50, 60% as the whole Market turns Bear. Because AMAT bounced back and now on its way back inside the Playfield, I know, we are not in a Bear Market yet. Those of us who bought in this recent Dip got a really big Discount SALE!...

Actually, I did several Posts this downturn that got buried under the avalanche of Posts especially from threaders who waited and waited and finally took advantage of the Sale of the Year (one new threader who apparently sold or shorted at a discount even characterized it as a "Going Out of Business Sale)...

Successful vendors know by experience how to market their wares---they cut prices to spur demand...AMAT, by being cheaper, is now in demand more than ever!...
