dennis: just go ahead to check the charts of atml or pair on each option expiration day and the corresponding open interests, then you can find how 'coincidence' could happen and i would say a stochastic movement of stock price would not be able to cause so many 'coincidences'. IMO, as long as a company is not that big like INTEL, MSFT, etc, the answer is: MM can ! xc
