Miklosh, Actually CPQ was the first company to offer sub-$1000 computers to the mass market using a CYRX GX chip and they are lowering their prices further to $799 to help lock their market niche. I don't typically follow computer manufacturers myself, but I have seen some recommendations posted on the CYRX/NSM thread. It might be better to inquire there.
