Would you have and old post that explains your reasoning for ADSL only being a stop-gap? I'm not sure I understand your view on this... is it ADSL or xDSL that is a stop-gap solution? ISDN is a slow form of xDSL which allows for the migration to faster speeds. I have an open mind on the HFC solution, can you provide some more information ... until later.

PS. I heard the HFC solution many many months ago, I realize the cable deployments will actually help the deployments of xDSL services... light the fire under the RBOC's..
