I've never owned more than 2,000 shares of Cymer. But one thing I've learned is these market makers will only accept 500 shares at a time. More than that and you'll get the special low price of the day.

Another cute little thing I've noticed is your sales go a lot more smothly if you place a limit buy order about 3/4 of a point below your sell limit price. The market makers seem more eager to make a market in Cymer if they think there are a number of buyers, albiet at a slightly lower price. Cancel the buy limit after your last sale.
