(INTERSAT) and GLOBAL LINK International Inc. are pleased to announce that they have signed a licensing agreement which teams the Global Link Electronic Tour Book (ETB) software with INTERSAT communication services. Using the latest CAODC specifications, ETB captures detailed drilling information for transmission from drilling rigs to head offices, AEUB and other sites. Communication software and services for the Electronic Tour Book are being provided under license by INTERSAT to Global Link. The Electronic Tour Book is available for use over cellular, satellite and land lines. INTERSAT is a leading developer and value-added provider of fax, data and voice communication hardware, software and services to industry, using wireless and internet as communications media. INTERSAT's primary satellite customer base is with Canadian and international oil and gas customers, but also includes the mining, utilities, environmental and public sectors. INTERSAT has also developed and is proceeding with marketing a service to enable fax-to-fax communication via the internet, targeted at an estimated $92 billion global fax long-distance market of over 40 million fax machines (based on BIS Strategic Decision and International Data Corporation data). Global Link is a dynamic software solutions creator focussed on development of innovative, market driven products for specific industry sectors. Global Link has a contract to implement ETB on over 200 rigs over the next 12 months.
