Spudding means to begin drilling a well. A "net" well refers to the % ownership in the well. For example, if Kelly drills a well in which they own a 50% interest, they have drilled one "gross" well and 0.5 "net" wells. These are common terms used in the oil industry, so I doubt Kelly would see the need to add them to their web site.
