No disenchantment other than Wall Street's lack of respect for PZZA.

I got in at $40. I could have saved a buck (maybe) by waiting, but I wanted in a bit before earnings. Hitting the earnings forecast didn't do much for us - we were holding around $40, now we're holding around $43. This modest share price increase comes on the heels of record performance of Papa John's. I'm disappointed that we haven't been grinding out nice little share price increases, and I'm quite disappointed that we did not participate in the stock market rise during the past few days. We appear to be stuck right about here, even when the market is good, and even when we have great news.

I was having a bit of fun with my crack about the importance of cheese prices, but in reality there is a decline in the price of cheese going on right now, and I am hopefull that this may increase the popularity of our stock.

We've got a positive interest rate environment, which is quite important to a franchisor like PZZA. Now we'll see lower cost of goods sold, important for the company-owned stores. What else is missing?

Investor sentiment. Price momentum.

We need to catch a break.
