Tuesday: Made nice bucks on the CMGI 2 day position trade (in 95 3/8, out 106 1/2) Surprised it didnt rally more with LCOS surging. But thats good for me since I'm out.... LCOS Feb CALL options kicked butt today, but will sell them into tommorow's gap up. Will buy the longer term options after LCOS corrects itself down to the mid 90s ... one of these days LCOS will be bought out and go up 50% in a day... safest and most leveraged way to play this are the August options... (or whichever are the longest time duration at this point) Bought BRCM Feb 130 CALLS (for trading in next month) Bought BRCM May 130 CALLS (not for trading) this afternoon on weakness. All I heard on CNBC today after work was about broadband.. ATHM...broadband... well BRCM and the fiber optic stocks are the way to play this... unfortunately fiber optic stocks dont go up 20% in a day, so I resist putting money in them grin. Broadband will be gold in the next 5 years... how else are you going to be able to call Aunt Martha in South Carolina live on your computer with video? :) Bought RNWK today... in the trio of VRSN, EXDS, and RNWK which I had classified as my favorite small float, great niche, internet 2nd tier blue chips, this is the only one which had a "small" gain (15%) Bought in today at $61. Any company that MSFT tried to support, and then buy, and now is trying to kill.. must be doing something right.
