Mike:

I haven't really researched Harken Energy (HEC). There is a
thread here on the Silicon Investor. Just do a search and you'll
find it. I have "peeked" occasionally and noted that they had
some activity in Columbia. I don't really have an interest in them.

Several years ago they drilled in Bahrain (spelling)? I think that
is off the coast of Saudi. I believe Henry Bush was either part
owner or on the board of directors. I had gotten a call from a
broker who knew that I was interested in stocks under $5.00 and
suggested I buy into this one at approx. $1.00 and I saw it go
to $7.00 based on drilling in Bahrain - speculation. Anyway I
think they drilled 2 dry wells at that time and stock went back
to $1.00. They are located here in Texas. I have an old newspaper
clipping I could fax if interested. Right now I guess the
big play is in Columbia. You read the thread and see if you make
any good of it. They are in Grand Prairie, Texas area code 214.
I don't really have an interest. I generally speculate on the
mining stocks.

Just recently did I get involved in Oil i.e Energas (eeg-v), Foreland
Corp (Forl-small cap) and of course aipn.

Sorry I can't give you more info at this time.

Regards,

Alan

P.S. anyone else following aipn ?
