Citrix sold the kernel for terminal services to Microsoft more than five years ago for one billion dollars. they have had to invent better ideas for MS ever since. For some reason MS keeps incorporating them into their product. On NT MF was required to make it run reliably. On 2000 MF made printing happen, and the user access rights were easier to understand. Load balancing required MF on NT and 2000. On Windows 2003 Citrix is still valuable in some situations.
