tough time reconciling Intel's viewpoint that Y2K and Taiwan will not effect fourth-quarter demand
Credit Suisse First Boston and Robertson Stephens said they were cutting their earnings estimates on INTEL CORP. Credit Suisse First Boston lowered its 1999 EPS estimate to $2.23 from $2.31. Robertson Stephens said Daniel Niles, its managing director and senior electronic devices analyst, lowered fiscal 1999 EPS estimate to $2.21 from $2.28. Niles lowered fiscal 2000 EPS estimate to $2.55 from $2.65.
