JK - OK Q doesn't need it but surely the three SPs in Korea do. Take a look at their stock prices. How about plain old fashioned marketing.

Unless I am going stir crazy I happen to believe that going wireless from 64Kbps or even 14.4 Kbps to 144 Kbps is a BIG deal, a very big deal. It means that with a PCMCIA CDMA2000 modem I can log on with my notebook anywhere in Seoul or the other big cities, in airports, on trains, wherever I happen to be.

That to me is a BIG deal and I am just very very confused about why these three SPSs aren't shouting the news from the rooftops and having banner headlines on their web sites.

I don't suppose they have been pursuaded by 'others' to keep the cdma2000 deployment quiet and not to give it any publicity? Could that be possible?

I am confused.

Best regards,

L
