Bill,

I agreed with David - David, the most important part is "not timid to enter the trades" . Wed/Thurs I considered buying calls on several stocks, when they looked so oversold but were still in an uptrend channel.

I also like Bill's idea of at least 2 months out - more expensive but gives one much more time so one is not easily being shaken out - being a beginning option trader, I feel the first hardest part is "not timid", the second hardest part is not shaken out.
