Kulicke & Soffa 4.8% makes a nice move higher as it closes out FY23 on a strong note

11:11 AM ET 11/16/23 | Briefing.com

KLIC reported a nice EPS and revenue beat for Q4 (Sep). Revenue fell quite a bit, down 29% yr/yr but was up 6% sequentially. KLIC says the general semiconductor and LED end markets showed clear improvements in SepQ, and that was evident in the upside results. It also helped that KLIC increased its dividend slightly and it said that it has received multiple orders for its Thermocompression Bonding (TCB) systems, primarily supporting Silicon Photonics (SiPh) based Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) applications. KLIC expects a series of follow on CPO orders to support aggressive capacity expansion plans throughout FY24-25.
