Zeev, thanks for all the work and sharing. "Long in the tooth" is a reference to aging. Horses teeth grow continually and the way to know age is to examine the teeth. Do please note that skilled horse traders have been known to find ways around this examination. I guess market makers are always the same. I am sure there is a Hungarian variation as Magyars do raise some fine horses.
