Thanks for the XBR info Paul. I am looking at a magazine ad for the XBR, and it sure looks like the screen is larger than 36" (notwithstanding that the page is only 8" wide). The ad refers to the TV as a "big screen tv" and also refers to it as "the giant." I am in the market for a kick-ass large TV (45" or greater), which is why I am trying to determine whether Sony makes one of these in an extra large.

Edit: I just found a 61" XBR, but it is a projection TV. Lists for a mere $5,499 (with all the bells and whistles). A few more days like today, and it will be a no-brainer. LOL
