An idea is unconquerable. However, its effectiveness in the real world is another issue altogether.

The Taliban's hiding in mosques and in civilian centers will preclude it from being an effective fighting force. No masses of force can be concentrated to engage in effective hostilities. Got to come out in the open to fight. That the Taliban is resorting to these techniques is indicative of its weakness. Also indicates that the current strategies are working.
