USEconomy is very vulnerable to mere deceleration of increases to money supply, totally agreed

here is a beauty, just heard from woman in software group for a medium bank in PA

Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac require that mortgage servicing firms account for all mortgage payments as though paid on the 1st of the month
so if homeowners pay deep into the grace period, then servicing firms lose the difference

for these firms, sounds like the opposite of check kiting
but for Fanny & Freddie, parallel to kiting
