I agree, KX133's performance is very good vs. the i840's.

The i840 platform has a peak of 3.2GB/s of memory bandwidth (or something like that) vs. the KX133's 1.06GB/s and the Athlon platform is still superior and of course cheaper. This goes to show how the Athlon is a superior processor and probably the effectiveness of the 200MHz fsb.

Imagine what happens when the Athlon gets its own on-chip L2 cache and a chipset that allows up to 2.1 GB/s of memory bandwidth! <drool>

As I said earlier, AMD NEEDS a SMP capable chipset ASAP. They are missing out on LOTS of potential sales.
