Judicial management is South African for Chapter 11. So, this
is not good news at all for the POS. That was their only
remaining active underground operation, apart from surface
dumps. They are supposed to make money now and be out of debt.
So, wassup with that? I guess folks are wondering, and the
POS may indeed soar if this is clarified positively at the
annual meeting. What's the purpose of it all? Fight the unions
and fire some folks? Get a government loan? Or is it worse. It's
not quite the equivalent of Chapter 11, so who knows. Is the
POS going under? I have these questions. The POS is supposed to
make some good money now, though, and I would imagine they
would not want to lose the mine. It happened before, and the POS
went to a quarter of its former self, only back then the POS
was actually losing a bundle per quarter.
