be careful with Van Brokerage

I used them for a stock paying a divvy to be reinvested

Of course I got fractional shares rather than the other brokers giving the cash in lieu

They made up a symbol for those fract shares which was not recognized by any other broker

When I transferred out, cuz of the high fees, I cud not transfer those fract shares, so lost them

Til then I was perhaps THE most loyal Boglehead
