Can one pay his/her child $2000.00 per year for chores around the house and then the child decides to invest in a ROTH IRA ? Since the money is paid for chores, would this meet the "earned income" requirement ? Is this a way to get a youngster started on the road to wealth ? What types of child labor laws would apply here if any ?
