Disagree on how the American people reacted after 9-11. After the first initial shock, we collectively shook ourselves, and opened our eyes. We supported going to war, and sending our beloved children to fight our battle. Those who did not, could only offer their ideas of the past, and how terrorism had been handled before. Obviously, after so many years of testing their ideas, most of us decided those ideas didn't seem to work.

The American people are an amazing group of people. We may argue, and disagree, and yes, even whine. BUT when push comes to shove, we will support what has to be done. The SE Asian tsunami disaster is but the latest example of that.

Did we have help from any in the world when the hurricanes hit Florida so harshly this last year? Or for that matter, when much of anything happens to America, do we have much physical or financial support from other countries?

On the Iraqi vote, if I were a single parent with children, I might not vote, as who would take care of my children if I was killed voting. If I weren't a single parent, yes, I would go to vote. The stakes are high for the Iraqis. They can live under someone like Saddam or worse again, or they can really try to have a government that will work for them, and their children....it is their future.
