Hi Cal, Here's my $.02:

Average volume for the last couple days was 200K. Today's volume was 422K, or about 200K over average. This 200K increase was short covering. If 1.5MM? shares were short, then 1.3MM are left.

If/when the short covering attracts the momentum players, look out!! Also keep in mind that supposedly great earnings will be reported between Feb 14 - Feb 28 and the PEC news can come any time now. For me, it all adds up to one hell of an explanation as to why I can't get this smile off my face!!
