Cable vs. DSL will be one of the factors that will determine the eventual winner in the broadband ISP wars (@home vs AOL, etc.) Interesting article below on DSL disadvantages telecommagazine.com Excerpt below "Will the RBOCs Turn DSL Into Another ISDN? Unless RBOCs shake off the old way of doing business and grab market share before the cable companies finish upgrading their infrastructure, DSL could be another well-documented failure. " A bet on AOL is an implicit bet on the RBOC's who are best described as "trapped in a cage of copper." @home and bandwidth seems a better bet to me.
