>NEW YORK, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- RemoteIT.com (http://www.RemoteIT.com), a subsidiary of Hertz Technology Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: HERZ), today released details of its pioneering DSL offering for local markets. This free top-to- bottom, on-site support and service program will be offered first in the New York metropolitan market. No other DSL provider currently provides the range of products and services and the comprehensive on-site support, all at the most competitive prices, available from RemoteIT.com.

"In contrast to the competition, RemoteIT.com does not stop at the "jack-in-the-wall," said Eli Hertz, President and CEO of Hertz Technology Group. "Following the installation of the DSL line, RemoteIT.com system engineers will connect the initial customer PC or network hub to the DSL line and to the Internet. We are the industry's first DSL provider to offer these services at no additional cost. As a result of this complete, total care approach, we expect an increase in customer satisfaction, and additional revenue opportunities from the expanded services we can offer to our new DSL customers."

Alan Cooper, RemoteIT.com's CIO, added, "With our depth of service and the support initiatives which are second to none, we are now the most competitive DSL provider in the New York area. Our DSL package for business subscribers also includes free inside wiring and set-up, a free DSL modem, 30 days of free usage, and DSL service, starting at a monthly service charge as low as $108.95 for a business class Symmetrical 160Kb line. Customers can also receive back-up Internet dial-up service for just $10 per month."

According to data compiled by Computer Intelligence, as reported in a recent ComputerWorld article, "Regional Internet Service Providers, as a whole, control 60 percent of the corporate market ... because local firms can offer stronger customer support."

Among the products and services RemoteIT offers are:

-- Internet Service Provider (ISP) -- RemoteIT offers DSL and Internet

communications services. It also offers other point-to-point

connectivity through Dial-Up, Frame Relay and T1, as well as

co-location of Web site applications, and Web-related hardware.

-- LAN and WAN -- Design, installation and on-going support and

maintenance of local (LAN) and wide (WAN) area networks. Services and

products include data back-up, virus protection, operating system and

application maintenance and upgrades, remote-site management, and

hardware and software training.

-- Web Services -- Web site design, implementation and hosting, including

corporate Intranet sites and eCommerce development and maintenance.

-- Integration Services -- This includes integration, configuration and

(http://www.redback.com). In addition, RemoteIT has secured facilities for a new state-of-the-art Internet and Network Operations Center, located in New York City and operated by Level 3 Communications, Inc.
