The Blackberry Bold 9780 with OS6 to sell on T-Mobile USA ...

... and will join AT&T's OS6 Torch 9800 and Sprint's OS6 'Style' which goes on sale Saturday, on November 17.

Whereas the Torch features touchscreen with slide-down QWERTY keyboard, and the Style is a clamshell with full QWERTY keyboard, the Bold 9780 is a candybar-style phone without touchscreen but with trackpad and full QWERTY keyboard.

The Bold 9780 features 3.6Mbps HSDPA high-speed cellular data and operates in 3G HSDPA mode in T-Mobile's AWS band an in foreign 900MHz and 2.1GHz bands [... so it can be used on T-Mobile internationally]. Other features include 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, video recording, Wi-Fi calling, 624MHz processor, 512 MB of internal memory, included 2GB memory card, built-in GPS and location-based services by TeleNav Navigator.

Research In Motion's third Blackberry with OS 6 will be available through T-Mobile beginning Nov. 17.

The Blackberry Bold 9780 will join RIM's Torch 9800, which was the first OS6 phone available in the U.S. when AT&T began selling it Aug. 12 for $199. The second OS6 phone will be the Style, which becomes available Oct. 31 through Sprint at $99.

The 9780 will be available in black or white at $129.99 after $50 mail-in rebate beginning Nov. 17 at T-Mobile retail stores, the company's website and select dealers.

The new OS brings a new user interface to simply access to key features, universal search, an improved Web browsing experience with faster page-loading and tabbed browsing, and integrated social-network and news feeds. The OS also lets users jump faster between applications and provides for multitasking.

The OS also features graphical, context-sensitive pop-up menus, a new multimedia UI, and new apps for downloading podcasts and watching YouTube videos.
