They are free when you factor in the cost to the insurer of providing for the care of a pregnant mother, the birth of the child and all the cost associated with a new born child to the insurer. My guess is if people would argue this honestly contraceptives make money. If you refuse to consider these cost associated with birth - then of course the contraceptive is not free. But that is just strange reasoning and frankly - I'm tired of explaining it. So rant on.........
