My parents immigrated to this country from Italy. When they came here in 1963 there were no free meals. They had to earn their living. Despite the inevitable ethnic jokes, they were grateful to the people of Canada which accepted them and they made many sacrifices over the years so that their children would have a brighter future.

On the other hand, minorities of today no longer come here with the same work ethic. They no longer consider their presence in this country as a privilege. Instead, they come here with the attitude that it is their right to be here. It is their right for the social services of the state to feed and clothes them. It is their right to change our ways to accommodate them. And no one will speak out out of fear of being labeled a bigot.

You see, Flap, I don't believe in Rights. I believe people must earn their Privileges. And to do so they must willfully contribute to our society. Only after they have contributed can they demand for these privileges.

The liberal welfare state proposed by the Democrats feeds into the natural irresponsibility and laziness of man. Why work when the state will provide?
