Michelle was from some obscure group. I didn't recognize her name. But she really focused on the fact that modem sales were going to be very strong. (That is all that the BOT does you know <g>) The DOW may have been up but the breadth was pretty even. Forget IBM, Exxon and a few other oil giants, and a few other big caps and the gain was pretty small. The excitement surrounding index funds is causing everyone to chase the big caps. Market historians might want to look at the nifty fifties for what can happen when stocks like Coke are pushed to historically high valuations.

Lets just be glad this isn't the Mercury Finance board. Ouch.
