OT >> fishing thing-a-me-bob. Sorry TL, haven't done that for over 10 yrs.Went a few years up northern Que about 400 north of Montreal, no outfitter, strictly in the wild. Lots of Pike and Dore, my best catch was a 26lb 42" Pike. I dont think its the place (or should say the drive) for 8&9 year olds. But there must be some outriggers but the drive is rough (logging roads). From your place, should be good places in Ontario. Afterthought: Yes did fly in one year with a friend to an Outfitter, beautiful siteseeing by air, but no fish that time. Thanks for triggering some old memories!
