Paracelsian was mentioned in today's BioWorld Today regarding the East West Herbs deal... Company Acquired: Easy West Herbs Ltd. (U.K.) Acquired by : Paracelsian Inc. Date announced: 4/96 Date Completed: 4/97E Value(M): $3.2 Terms: Paracelsian has a 1-year option to acquire all the outstanding shares of East West (specialist in traditional Chinese medicine) for cash and Paracelsian shares valued at 3.2M (a maximum of 0.875M shares); Paracelsian will loan East West capital for R & D and clinical trials for 2 herbal products for cancer. Notice the last sentence of terms. This is the first I've seen showing Paracelsian's interest in East West developmental drugs. This would mean that PRLN has 4 drugs in trials! Rick
