Excuse you? Hell, I love intrusions. Makes me feel like I'm not the only mouse in this church :o) I guess I would say that the piercing of $7 is statistically invalid based on TAVA's typical behavior. Here's a great free site for Technical Analysis (TA)... equis.com ...it states, better than I could, what CCI is. Definitely go there...The CCI typically oscillates between ±100. To use the CCI as an overbought/oversold indicator, readings above +100 imply an overbought condition (and a pending price correction) while readings below -100 imply an oversold condition (and a pending rally) The fallout of the CCI is usually a very ephemeral thing. I suspect it will correct very quickly, w/an appropriate rally in the price. This case is as close as it gets to a gimme, for me. Very good for a day trade or a re-entry on a charateristic TAVA dip...only thing that could justify it is a significant failure in the fundies,of which I haven't heard... You're right that cresting $7 around Christmas was a breakout. Most indicators confirmed a break from the previous 6 month's trend then also. Some indicators picked up on the reversal back in mid-September. Other than the CCI, there appear to be no other compromises to the current uptrends. Bollinger Bands are showing good support at 6 1/4, as is the 50DMA... quote.yahoo.com Try to query the board for further opinions on TA. Heck, the last three days might even be a shakeout prior to some good news... If I can get into some cash, I'll be looking for an entry Monday.
