Youtube spot about JALA bars: youtube.com

The product is selling in the east part of the country at various stores. People who have tasted the bars have raved about them.

Marc Wexler and Sam Pugliese are the founders of Jala. These are the same two guys who founded Skinny Cow which is now owned by Nestle; so they have the experience and know-how to sell their latest product.

There have been some negatives of late that have caused a price drop, but I believe this has created a great buying opportunity.

  1. Someone did a pump and dump (Be Active Holdings was not involved with this) that negatively affected the stock.

  2. Marc Wexler recently resigned as CEO, but I don't believe he ever had intentions of staying on in that capacity; they haven't been a public company long, and I think he was just a place holder until they found the right person.

  3. They are late on their recent filings, though they filed an nt 10-k which leads me to believe they will file in the next week or so.

Currently, the stock appears to have bottomed out. If I'm correct with the above assertions then the stock could see some nice movement when the 10-K is filed because it should show some decent revenue. An announcement of a new CEO should also affect the stock positively.

If I'm wrong, then of course, the stock will head down. But that's the chances we take with these little companies starting out; big risk, big reward.
