jbe and Andrew: I am a trader and investor who has used the more "traditional" valuation methods in pricing my stocks(such as the ones you have mentioned, plus giving consideration to Price/Sales and Price/Book ratios), in addition to various Technical Analysis techniques.

I am an admirer of Warren Buffett, and feel that he has somehow got it right by applying a discounted cash flow analysis technique in his stock picking process. As my experience in the market has taught me to become more long-term oriented, my interest in this free cash flow method has grown more and more. I am thankful to the two of you for providing an educational platform on SI.

As I would like to take the next step in my market education, can either of you recommend a book on cash flow analysis? In addition, can you look at a stock I am currently holding in terms of cash-flow analysis? It is Q-Sound Labs, symbol QSNDF. If either of you can provide some insight into the workings of FCF as it relates to QSNDF, I think it would be a great place to launch my education in FCF analysis. I appreciate any comments you may have.

Regards,

Rainier Trinidad
