FROM EARTHWORKS NEWS RELEASE NO. 177 OCTOBER 26, 1998 The Company is also pleased to report it has received a royalty payment from Solucorp Industries Ltd. in the amount of $21,499 (Cdn.). Solucorp continues to expand its market for the MBS heavy metal treatment technology from which Earthworks receives $1 for each ton of material treated. In a recent Solucorp release it was announced that a demonstration would be made at a mid-western landfill over a 90 day period. If successful, it will lead to a one year or perhaps longer contract. Under the royalty terms Earthworks would receive a monthly royalty similar to other in-line systems currently in operation. While the Company remains confident Solucorp will secure the larger projects under negotiation, these smaller in-line processes represent a growing revenue source to Earthworks. We are starting to see a bit of support in the chart..... maybe the bottom has come and things will improve form here.
