Saul, I'm no economic expert, but I think that short institutions just convert their debt to cover the short. In an upswing in price there's no harm no foul (even Steven). However, in a price downturn, institutions sweeten yield with shorting profit. I'm sure Seth will correct me if I'm wrong. Ed Plopa
