Saukriver, you have conveyed my dilemma precisely. Mr. Garrett sincerely wants to help me understand the strength of QCOM's patents. I'm happy to agree that they are unassailable and valuable. That's not the point. Fearful as I am to stress the obvious, it certainly makes a difference whether QCOM retains its legal monopoly for 6 years or 14 years.
