Robert: <You've taken this arguable investment viewpoint and attached it to a given investment vehicle (Softbank), without apparently taking much else into consideration. Such investment vehicles are called "Story Stocks.">

Story stock? Do you know this company? They are opening the Nasdaq in Japan and elsewhere. They own a third of Yahoo and 300 other companies. They just bought a Japanese bank. They have a joint venture capital pool with the world bank. They are partners with everybody on everything that moves. A story stock? Sorry, if they have problems it will be managing all that they have wrought. The founder could well end up richer than Gates by the end of this year -- the problem is the same as with all these pigs -- there is no rational basis for valuation. Is it a trillion dollar company? Very possible. Is it a 100 billion $ company? -- also very possible.
