Time for my ramblings...
I went to GNC on Super Tuesday (I am a gold card member!). There were at least 20 people in the store, of which half were in the herbal section. I should know, I was there with them buying herbal tea, garlic. They have this new section for homeopathic medicnes for the cold, flu, backaches, arthritis...
The sales guy told me that they were selling really good. It seems that people are fed up with sysnthetic medines which don't seem to work, and which cause large side effects. The natural stuff, while expensive, is a lot less expensive, and more people are willing to try the herbal medicines. From personal experience, i would much rather try something natural, then sysnthetic that has alot of side effects.
I think its great that PRLN would try and market AndroVir and AndroCar as dietary supplements to be used in conjunction with routine medicinal therapies. The one thing I have found is they really dilute the use of herbs in medicines, so I would be suprised by any toxic side effects.
I guess what I am getting at SSB, is i agree with you. If I am someone who has a family history of cancer (prostate or whatever) I would strongly consider taking something natural to prevent it. Thats why me, and millions of other Americans take antioxidant vitamins (A, C, E) to prevent heart disease, and cancer. This is one reason I invested in paracelsian. If others feel the same way, they have a HUGE market potential. |
